Editorial & Tool Accuracy Policy

Our Mission

At PlaylistCalc, our mission is to provide the most accurate, reliable, and privacy-respecting YouTube playlist length calculations. We believe in providing free, fast tools without requiring users to log in or sacrifice their data privacy.

Accuracy and Calculations

The calculations provided by PlaylistCalc are strictly objective. We fetch data directly from the official YouTube Data API v3. Our mathematical models for calculating total duration, average length, and custom playback speeds are automated and free from manual interference.

  • Data Sourcing: All video lengths are fetched in real-time from YouTube.
  • Rounding: We round up to the nearest second to ensure accuracy across thousands of videos.
  • Transparency: If a video in a playlist is deleted, private, or hidden, it is excluded from our calculations and flagged for the user.

Independence & Objectivity

PlaylistCalc is completely independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Google LLC, or any parent organization. Our content and tools are created to serve our users first and foremost.

We do not alter calculation results to favor specific creators, channels, or platforms.

Corrections and Updates
